ABOUT US

Museum-Grade (ISO 9706)

Giclée Printing

Our museum-grade archive quality giclée art prints are printed on 100% cotton 315gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta stock, using professional Canon LUCIA PRO™ pigment inks. This hand-picked combination results in a color-perfect reproduction with enhanced print longevity; stored prints can last over a century, 80-years on display behind glass (light fastness), and 50-years without the glass (gas fastness).
Independent Quality

Digital Artisan

Colorization is a laborious process, digitally painting on layer upon layer of color onto an original black and white picture, making it realistic enough for you to believe you are looking at a genuine color photograph. But the real magic behind our colorized photographs is the historical research. Color is sourced directly from original reference material, and adjusted to the lighting conditions. In more complex images, hundreds of references need to be obtained in order to produce the most authentic version of a photograph, with over a thousand separate layers of color to make sure every single detail is accounted for.
